I can't believe that I am already wrapping up week number 30!!! As you can see in the pictures, our little Brayden is growing and growing:) Third trimester has brought many new fun things; Brayden has discovered my ribs, being able to watch my tummy move as Brayden does flips, and the lovely pregnancy waddle has begun. One of the biggest joys in pregnancy is being able to feel Brayden move around in my tummy, it never gets old. Brayden's movements are a constant reminder how blessed we have been to have a healthy active baby boy. My prayer daily is that Brayden will continue to stay healthy. It has been fun getting his room ready, doing our 3-D ultrasound, and just dreaming how it will be to hold our son in our arms!

More Pregnancy photos- Week 25

I can't believe that I am completing my 25th week of pregnancy. The last couple of weeks have been filled with excitement though. After many long conversations, Ben and I have named our little man: Brayden Thomas Mitchell. Brayden in the last couple of weeks has really started to move. Ben and I love to sit on the couch at night and watch my tummy as Brayden kicks and jabs all over the place. It is so amazing to feel Brayden move inside of me. It doesn't matter how many times I have felt him move, each time makes me smile and fills my heart with joy. I am so excited to meet our little man can't believe that its only about three months away.

Half Way There!! 20 Weeks!

20 Weeks! I can't believe I am already 20 weeks and half way to delivering our son! Second trimester has been great to me! I have more energy and am able to keep food down. The food I love right now are: berries, humus, and McDonald's fruit and maple oatmeal.:) Our little boy likes to move in the morning and right before I go to bed. I love sitting down at night and waiting for him to move, it is the greatest feeling! Ben and I are still chatting over naming our little one. Hopefully we will agree upon a name soon:)

Its a Boy!!!
We're having a BOY!!!! Surprise, Surprise! I know! It has been the running joke that all Mitchell's have boys! Well, we are joining that boy club:) We are so excited to meet our little guy! It was amazing seeing him move today! Seeing that heart beat strong, brings tears to my eyes every time. I am 18 weeks along and feeling great! I am really enjoying feeling his little movements and am excited to have Ben feel him move soon too. Now that we know the gender.. let the planning begin!

We Are Pregnant!!!

Hi everyone!!! It has been so long since I have updated my blog. Ben and I found out in November that we are expected our first child. We are so excited! Baby Mitchell is due July 24th, Daddy- to-be's birthday! Now wouldn't that be a fun birthday gift;) Now you might be wondering why my first post about our pregnancy is 16 week in. Well, my first trimester was rough to say the least. Lets just say that I didn't keep food down and a couple days before Christmas I spent many hours in the ER for dehydration. But through it all I kept praising God for what a blessing to be pregnant. On December 19th, Ben and I had our first doctors appointment and we were thrilled to see our little one on an ultrasound screen, as well as hear a very strong heartbeat! I was overwhelmed with joy to see our little baby growing inside of me! I am now a couple week into my second trimester and feeling good. I am still pretty exhausted after a day with kindergarteners, but I am keeping food down. Life is good:) Ben and I are so excited to welcome our little one into the world this summer and excited for all the new adventures to come!

We just had to stop coming home from Park city to get some photos of this view.
Mom and Dad called on Sunday last week and invited us to go visit Mer in Utah, So we packed up and were on our way the next morning. It was a great trip. We enjoyed visiting with family and wondering the sites in Utah. I saw snow falling for the first time, that was amazing. We also experienced some cold weather, the lowest we saw was 5 degrees. Burr!!!

Ben and I had the opportunity to go to New York in October. We have a blast. I was able to see all that I wanted to. Our adventures included: Chicago on Broadway, Statue of Liberty, Time Square, Central Park, Top of the Empire State building(not my fav.), lots of walking and much more. It was a great trip. I took over 400 pictures, too many to display on my blog.
